It started with a baby shoe my wife had made at our kitchen table. Together, we grew that idea into a brand that reached more than 300 wholesale stores and generated $15 million in online sales. Over ten years, we put shoes on children’s and adults’ feet.
During the height of COVID, the business faced constraints we couldn’t overcome and ended in bankruptcy.
Both experiences shape how I coach today: building something people care about, understanding what’s happening underneath it, and recognising the pressure that business owners carry.
Over time, I developed BPGO—a way to make the work visible, talk about it clearly and move it forward.
